What I Wore in SAIPAN!

Comfy and mom-friendly outfits for a beach vacation or everyday island life.

Here’s my amazon fasion haul too if you’re interested. It has some of the same pieces from this post.

We traveled to Saipan on the 4th of July and we got there early in the morning so we wanted to be ready to go exploring as soon as we got off the plane. I chose to wear something comfortable for the plane but also something cute and festive for the July 4th holiday. That’s why I wore this blue and white stripe American Eagle romper. I wore it all day from 6am to 8pm without feeling like I wanted to change into my pajamas.

It has straps that tie at the top and a trendy off shoulder detail.

My blue and white stripe romper is an old American Eagle style so I won’t be able to link it for you. However, I did a quick search and there are some of these exact rompers still for sale on Poshmark! I just searched “blue and white stripe american eagle romper” on google. You can find my white sneakers on amazon. The amazon links in this post are affiliates which means I get a small commission at no extra cost to you!

The next day was packed with brunch, sight seeing all around the island and checking into our new hotel. Again I needed to wear something comfortable and easy to walk around in. I can’t go wrong with my high waisted Old Navy black shorts that go with everything and this little lettuce hem tank top I picked up at Ross. I threw on my beach cover up for going inside places because my outfit was pretty bare. It was unbelievably hot and humid.

After we checked into Fiesta I got ready for dinner while Lionel had a nap. I wore this new purple wrap dress from Amazon. This dress is awesome. It is a true wrap style and so flattering. Pinks and purples look good on so many skin tones. I clipped an Amazon coupon and got this dress for $19.

On the morning we went for a casual brunch I wore one of my all time favorite amazon finds. This tie-dye maxi dress is flowy and breezy for hot summer days. I knotted it on the side as a cute extra detail. It’s perfect for brunch with family or friends!

I think the star of this whole vacation is this high waisted flounce swimsuit from amazon. It’s so flattering! It’s also comfortable and mom approved. I played and jumped in the water with my toddler and didn’t have to worry about having a swimsuit malfunction. If your looking for something trendy but way more functional than a string bikini check this out! I also love the tropical palm print. This is seriously my favorite swimsuit.

The Spaghetti straps are removable too! I bought this bikini set for $19.99 but right now it’s on amazon for $14.71. Such a steal

When we were lounging around the hotel room for nap time I hung out in this nautical striped romper. It is so comfy! I picked in up at Ross for $10 and I would be ashamed to admit it was an impulse buy except it’s actually awesome. The brand is EXIST and I looked for this style to link on their website but I couldn’t find it. Your local Ross might have it in stock!

The fanciest thing I wore the whole trip was this Forever21 dress I got on clearance for $19. I don’t always shop there because I feel like I have grown out of it but I was really impressed by the quality of this gorgeous pink and purple tie-dye dress and on a whim I tried it on. So glad I did! It is well constructed and these are my colors. Also I’m 5’7″ and this is the perfect maxi length.

I wore a pink bodycon slip under this dress because the top is low cut and the bottom might blow open in the wind! I just didn’t want to worry about it. This dress is on sale on their website right now for $26.99 but if you go to your local store you may find it even more discounted like I did.

Lastly, you can’t forget about the going home outfit. This Levi’s t-shirt is the softest shirt I have ever put on my body. I was so cozy for the plane ride home. It is a tiny bit cropped but I wouldn’t call it a true crop top, just a little shorter than your average t-shirt. I wore it with high waisted leggings and my white blowfish sneakers.

Bye Saipan! See you next time

If you want to see more of our Saipan adventures you can check out my Saipan post from earlier this week. I spill the tea about the hotels we stayed at, our favorite places to eat and the beautiful sites we visited! We also made a youtube travel vlog if you prefer videos.

Stay tuned for more fashion inspo because next week I’m posting about my Amazon summer fashion favorites!
